Endless Music, often written as endless music, is a BMS package release built as a complete “install and play” game bundle. Is-m (also known as parakeet41) produced it and released it in 2007.

What makes it different from most BMS events is the format. Instead of a typical submission and voting site, Endless Music shipped as a packaged client built on Lunatic Rave, with the songs and unlock progression integrated into the game flow. BMS EVENT LITE lists it as a Package Event, run from 2007-07-15 to 2007-10-28, with 38 works recorded in the event index.

The game client is titled “LunaticRave NEXTWAVE -endless music-”. Keysounds News describes it as a complete game package created by Is-m with help from Lunatic Rave’s creators and others, released in 2007, and positioned as the final LunaticRave version before lavalse moved on to LunaticRave 2. The same guide states the package includes over 40 songs, with some set up as unlockables through play.

Progression and modes matter in this package. Keysounds News explains Standard Mode as the primary route for unlocking songs, with stage-based song lists and conditions that lead into Extra Stage and One More Extra Stage. It also outlines Expert Mode and Grade Mode as fixed-course modes, plus Free Mode for unrestricted song selection after unlocks.

Practical setup details show the era it came from. The Keysounds guide advises running the package under a Japanese system locale for reliable install behavior, and notes common compatibility steps on newer Windows versions. It also notes the official downloads offered multiple builds by audio format and quality, and that later-added songs lived on the author’s BMS download page, intended to be extracted into the “endless music” folder.

Credits exist as a formal staff page on the official site. A current snapshot of that page lists Is-m as producer and sound composer, and credits hameko and AOiRO_Manbow for skinfile and movie design work.

Access and preservation: one widely referenced preserved form is an Internet Archive upload from 2009 containing audio converted from the BMS set using Winamp with the In_BM plugin, credited to Is-m, and pointing back to is-m.jp as the original home.

In short, Endless Music sits halfway between a BMS event pack and a standalone rhythm game release. It packaged curated songs, progression, and presentation into a single LR-based experience, with an event index entry listing 38 works and community guides describing a 40+ song “complete game” bundle with unlock structure.
