It was an era when lines that were slower than the speed of "after the communication speed was limited because the capacity was exceeded" were the mainstream. Also, at that time, the capacity of HDDs was small, and it was an era when you could buy 100GB for 10,000 yen. In the modern age of 2021, it is becoming commonplace to be able to buy 6TB at the same price.
Despite these restrictions, BMS works continued to bloat, and this was often seen as a problem.
